Free UPSC/BPSC Coaching: Applications Open, ₹3,000 Incentive for Students
The Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class Welfare Department of the Bihar government has opened applications for free coaching for UPSC and BPSC aspirants. The training program will run for 12 months, and selected students will also receive a ₹3,000 incentive for purchasing study materials.
Free Coaching at Jannayak Library & State Digital Study Centre
The Jannayak Library and State Digital Study Centre in Patna will provide free coaching for students preparing for UPSC and BPSC exams. Admission to the program will be based on an entrance test and screening process, with the tentative date for the screening test set for February 16.
Seat Reservation & Eligibility
- 40% of the seats are reserved for students from Backward Classes
- 60% of the seats are for students from Extremely Backward Classes
- Only students from Bihar with a family income of up to ₹3 lakh per year from all sources are eligible to apply
Additional Benefits for Selected Candidates
Apart from free coaching, students enrolled at the Jannayak Library and State Digital Centre, Patna, will receive:

- Online tests & progress tracking through an MIS portal
- Motivation and guidance sessions
