The Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) experienced slow traffic due to:
✅ Breakdown of three heavy motor vehicles (HMVs).
✅ Single-lane traffic at Dalwas, Mehad, and between Marog & Kishtwari Pather.
✅ Ongoing four-lane construction work.

🚗 Passenger & LMV Operators: Travel during the daytime due to potential shooting stones between Ramban and Banihal.
🚛 Goods Carrier Operators: Follow traffic advisories, as road conditions are poor in multiple areas.
📌 HVM Operators: Avoid overloading, ensure vehicle fitness, and carry sufficient fuel. Only 6- and 10-tyre HMVs are allowed via Dhar Road.
🚧 Commuters: Avoid unnecessary stops, especially in landslide-prone areas between Ramban and Banihal.

🛣 SSG Road (Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari): One-way traffic from Kargil to Srinagar (10:00 AM – 3:00 PM). Vehicles must use anti-skid chains on slippery roads.
