Srinagar, February 7: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president and former J&K Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti chaired a high-level meeting at the party headquarters in Srinagar on Friday. The meeting, attended by senior party leaders, focused on concerns over increasing civilian deaths and arbitrary arrests carried out under the guise of security operations across Jammu and Kashmir.

One of the major decisions taken was the launch of a membership drive, which will officially begin at the PDP office in Jammu on February 13.
Mehbooba Mufti called on party leaders to take the membership campaign across Jammu and Kashmir, aiming to expand the party’s base and strengthen its grassroots support.
